Keeping Queensland moving

Tri Underground Australia are a Queensland-based family-owned business which manufactures and supplies an evolving range of underground electrical, communications and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) products.

Tri Underground have held supply agreements with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), Energy Queensland and Brisbane City Council for more than 10 years.

Since April 2021, Tri Underground have re-signed their long-standing supply agreement with TMR for underground electrical, communications and ITS products.

This includes the addition of the solar battery box system, which was designed and developed in conjunction with TMR specifically for regional Queensland applications. It was released on time for stage 1 of the Bruce Highway Smart Motorway program. Another innovation recently released is the TMR type approved T100 Range, an unground cable jointing pit with a one metre diameter span.
